This Privacy Policy explains how Location Pro (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you use our website and production tools. We are committed to handling your information transparently and in line with applicable data protection law, including the GDPR where it applies.

2. What data we collect
When you create an account or use Location Pro, we may process:
- Account data: email address, password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text).
- Session data: technical identifiers needed to keep you signed in (see our Cookie Policy).
- Technical logs: basic server logs (e.g. IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting.
3. What we do not collect or store on our servers
Your production work — location lists, contracts, timesheets, uploaded templates, photos, and exports — is processed in your browser and stays on your device unless you explicitly save or export files locally. We do not upload that content to our servers in the current version of the service.
4. Why we use your data
- To provide access to the tools and manage your account.
- To know who is using the service and prevent abuse.
- To communicate with you about the service (e.g. support, important notices).
- To maintain security.
5. Legal basis (GDPR)
- Contract: processing necessary to provide the service you signed up for.

Location Pro is intended for professional use in film and TV production. The service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy where permitted by law.
